Working closely with the Cairns Regional Council and designers, as the principal contractor, Terranovus Civil re-designed and constructed a 2.4 km DN375 watermain poly pipe that adhered to all relevant workplace, health and safety and environmental management legislations. The works consisted of poly welding the pipeline, earthworks/trenching, under bore drilling, scour valves, air valves, testing of the pipes and the construction of large thrust blocks. Using our specialised, accredited watermain pipelaying crew, we completed this project on time and on budget, despite the rain delays! We have the capability to construct both small and large diameter pipelines using all types of pipe materials for drainage, sewer and watermain applications.
