Woree State School Carpark Upgrade

Signed. Sealed. Delivered. This is Woree State School’s brand-new carpark. Previously, this was just a gravel patch with a few trees on a large piece of dirt. Terranovus Civil completed a number of works which included earthworks cut & fill, kerbing works, asphalt works, concrete footpaths, concrete islands, access crossovers, line marking and landscaping. This design also included a large stormwater detention basin located under the path and garden bed to store any excess rainfall runoff produced by the new carpark. Subsequently, releasing it at pre-development levels ensuring no additional risk of flooding to the school and downstream waterways. A gross pollutant trap was also installed to ensure sediment, hydrocarbons and litter is separated from the runoff before entering our waterways and ocean.
