Watermain Actuated Air-Valve Chambers

At Terranovus Civil, our management and engineering team have the capabilities to design and construct technically complex operations, with the ability to think safely and strategically. The new trunk watermain in Brinsmead Terrace forms part of a strategy to provide additional water security to the Cairns’ Northern Beaches. Two actuated valves have been installed, and upgrades have also been carried out to integrate the new valves into the local SCADA system. Terranovus also constructed two large reinforced concrete valve pits around the newly installed control valves on the DN600 Northern Beaches trunk water main.
